Who can become a member of the Foundation?

Membership is open to responsible and reputable individuals who support the mission of the Foundation. Applicants must be 18 years or older and of sound mind.

Are there people who cannot become members?

Yes. The following individuals are not eligible for membership: Anyone under 18 years A person declared of unsound mind Anyone convicted for an offence involving dishonesty within the last 10 years An undischarged bankrupt

Are volunteers automatically members?

No. Volunteers are welcome, but they only become members if they apply and are approved by the Trustees.

Is there a membership fee?

No. The Foundation does not charge membership dues. However, donations and gifts from members are welcome.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

Members may: Participate in general meetings Support the Foundation’s outreach, welfare, and heartcare programs Contribute ideas to improve the Foundation’s impact Take part in trainings, seminars, and health programs

What responsibilities do members have?

Members are expected to: Uphold the goals and values of the Foundation Participate in activities where possible Support initiatives for cardiac care, public health education, and charity work

Who approves my membership?

All membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Trustees of the Foundation.

How long does the membership approval take?

After submission, applications are reviewed within a reasonable time depending on meeting schedules and verification.

Can my membership be revoked?

Yes. Membership ends if a member: Resigns Becomes disqualified by law or this constitution Engages in conduct that goes against the Foundation’s principles

How do I apply for membership?

Simply fill out the membership application form, attach any required information, and submit it to the Foundation’s office or designated email.
