Trustees and Governance

The Board of Trustees serves as the backbone of DAYSPRING HEARTCARE AND SUPPORT FOUNDATION. This distinguished group of seven individuals oversees our policies, property, and strategic direction. They ensure that every activity and decision aligns with our vision of promoting heart health and supporting patients in need.

The Trustees operate in accordance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) and hold the authority to represent the Foundation in all legal and administrative matters. They also safeguard all funds and properties entrusted to the Foundation.

The Board functions through key leadership offices, including:

  • Chairman of the Board of Trustees: Leads meetings and represents the Foundation publicly.
  • Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Oversees day-to-day operations and reports directly to the Trustees.
  • Treasurer: Manages the Foundation’s finances and maintains transparent financial records.
  • Secretary: Handles correspondence, documentation, and record-keeping.

Each Trustee holds office for life but may resign or be replaced based on specific conditions such as incapacity or misconduct. Together, they ensure that the Foundation remains transparent, effective, and true to its mission.
